Dom Kennedy At Trees In Dallas

The first time Dom Kennedy did his Texas tour I didn’t get to go; he was in Dallas while I was in Houston and in Houston while I was in Dallas. When he came back again I said I just have to go! Even though Dom has a lot of mixtapes, I love listening to ♫From The Westside with Love II♫. The whole album has that Cali feel, really staying true to his Westside-Leimert Park roots. But it seems like we had to wait forever until he came on stage. I used to go to concerts that have at the most, 3 opening acts. There were literally 5 opening acts which just made me restless. Lol. I only posted a video of only one of the opening acts because that was just too much recording to do for people that I didn’t even know were coming because they we not listed on the flyer. Anywho (no not anyhow), Dom Kennedy came on stage and the crowd was just too live! He came out performing the terrific ♫When I Come Around♫, which set the mood off right. He did all of my favorite songs like ♫The Ways♫, ♫I Love Dom♫, ♫Grindin’♫, etc. I promise you that I recited every lyric like I was the one who created the songs and got on stage to rap it. I can admit that Dom is not the best rapper out there, but he is the best at what he knows…that west coast flow. He previewed some material off his upcoming ♫Yellow♫ album and already I am ready for it…it’s going to be so good. All in all, Dom is a good performer who knows how to work the stage and definitely the crowd.
