C.Nichole – “Always In Mind”
“Always In Mind” is a truly autobiographical track. I wrote it about my first love, imagining what we might say to each other if we ever got a second chance. Sometimes it really does take time, growth, and a do-over to get things right. And in our case… it actually was better the second time around. But, yeah, I still ended it. That’s a story for another day. For this song, I wanted to capture the vibe of those fun, poppy love songs from our middle and high school days. Nothing vulgar, nothing heavy or traumatic; just a light, nostalgic look at what it feels like to want to relive those sweet, simple moments again.
