C.Nichole – “Dead Of Night”
As soon as I heard the track for “Dead of Night,” I knew I wanted it to be some type of chant. I remember growing up and doing smart-sassy cheer chants. I’m a avid blocker, and I realized that I hadn’t written a song about it. I knew I needed to change that. I block family, friends, exes, it doesn’t matter. I believe it’s one of the best ways to protect your peace, and show people that you mean business about yourself, and your boundaries. I do get annoyed when they call with a number I’ve never seen before, and I pick up thinking it could be someone else. So annoying, so unnecessary; like just act like I don’t exist, because that’s what I did until you called lol!
