It’s time for volume two of PAN AFRICAN THINK TANK, the EP! I wanted to spend time weaving history and trailblazing ancestors into songs. Even though the genre is Tribal Trill, each song has a different genre undertone as well. “TOUSSAINT” incorporates Southern Hip-Hop/Trap sounds, “MALCOLM” incorporates Reggae sounds, “NZINGA” incorporates Soundtrack/Singer-Songwriter vibes, and “HATSHEPSUT” incorporates House sounds. GHSTKNTE did his thing with the beats, while I kept it modern-day historical with the lyrics. The EP cover art pays homage to the Black/Afro Berbers, also known as Moors.
