I’m Not Paying College Tuition Just To Party…I Can Do That For Free

I remember my first semester in college and all the flyers that were being stuck in my door and wondering who has the time for all this. Throughout the year, they just kept coming and coming, but I would throw them away after I knew my roommate had saw them as well, just in case she wanted to go. The next year I came back and wondered how many flyers would I receive if I collected them for the whole year? For the school year of 2009-2010 I picked up 113 flyers from the cracks and crevices in my door. Now this is a time for “Tsk Tsk, O Bother”. I’m sure that all people do is party because if they didn’t, they wouldn’t have had the revenue to print out the flyers to put at every door on campus. Out of all the flyers I collected, I only went to two of the events, so that’s still 111 unattended. College is not a party and shouldn’t be…see that’s why people drop out or get horrible grades. Only a handful of people can do both and still succeed, and congrats to those people. I don’t even like being around coonery like that to be at all those parties. I’d rather be at home in my bed watching Adult Swim, but that’s just me.
