Texas Summer Music Conference Summer 2009 Day 1 (and my only day.lol)

 FINALLY WE’RE ALL READY AND LEAVING

So I get rushed from the house by my sis.So I’m halfway ready but she says it’s whatever because we’re going to go get ready at the South Side On Lamar Lofts. So we get in an it was funny because the old Eminent Models were in one restroom and the new girls were in the other.lol.So their make-up artist stood them up but I had my stuff because I’m not with Eminent so I planned on doing my own.So my hair was pissing me off because since I went back to the straight look my roots curl up fast an I didn’t want to keep putting heat on my hair.So I’m about to walk out the restroom and KiKi J was like, “Are you dressed yet?” Haha.Yes I am.I had to let her know that I’m not with Eminent because she kept giving me suggestions saying I was going to be hot and I needed a belt at the waist.I knew I wasn’t going to be hot because I’m always cold, then I wanted it to be lose…don’t need no “niccas” staring at my a$$.So I went to sit with the dudes and they cracking me up.Waited 3 hours for everyone to get ready so it’s 11pm now.DJ Smith just taking pics and what not.So we go to Sala (the restaurant).You know, you walk in and everyone look at start taking pics and what not.I went to go claim me a seat.Then I went up and got some of that good ol’ Tex-Mex food.My sis told me to save her some but I ate it all because her interview was taking too long.Really didn’t have anyone to network with because it’s like it’s the same people in Dallas that I’ve already networked with.So lames tried to holla and then I hit the dance floor.Got home at 3am and that’s how it goes. 🙂
