C.Nichole – “Back In The Day (Homies)”

I wanted to create a time capsule of my childhood memories in Dallas, Texas, and my teenage years in Pasadena, California. “Back In The Day (Homies)”, produced by Magic, gave me a nostalgic feel as soon as I heard the beat. The first verse is about my cousins and me and everything we would get into while playing outside. The second verse is about my friends and me, recalling our hangout spots in Southern California. As you grow, life takes you in different directions, different parts of the world, etc., but it doesn’t mean that the memories don’t still hold a special place.
